 WHEN PAKISTAN CAME IN TO BEING The history of Pakistan:                                        The history of Islamic Republic of Pakistan began on 14 August 1947 when the country came  into being in the form of Dominion of Pakistan. Later it was renamed as Islamic republic of Pakistan in 1957.     The founder of Pakistan: QUAID-E-AZAM Muhammad Ali Jinnah was a lawyer, politician, and the founder of Pakistan.  He was also Pakistan's first Governor-General until his death in September 1948.     Pakistan's name: Pakistan is both a Persian and Urdu word. Pakistan means "the land of the pure" . In Persian it means (pak )  meaning: pure .   Flag of Pakistan:   The Pakistani flag was designed by Amiruddin Kidwai. The flag was adopted on 11 August, 1947. The green colour represents the Muslim majority and the white colour  represents non-Muslims.
