 Achievements of Pakistan:

When Pakistan was separated from India it had nothing.When it came in to being it mostly consisted of economically backward and underdeveloped areas.The agriculture system was outdated.The banks and other financial institutions were in Indian territory.

EVER SINCE PAKISTAN CAME INTO BEING THERE HAVE BEEN NUMEROUS ACHIEVEMENTS IN EVERY FIELD OF LIFE.

NUCLEAR COUNTRY

Pakistan is one of the nine countries to possess nuclear weapons. Dr. ABDUL QADEER KHAN is known as" the Father of Pakistan's nuclear bomb". He launched Pakistan on the path to becoming a nuclear power in early 1970s. Pakistan have ~165 nuclear weapons.

WORLDS LARGEST IRRIGATION SYSTEM:

The irrigation system of Pakistan is the world's largest irrigation source. It provides water to about 18 million hectares of arable land. Pakistan has largest canal based irrigation system. There are various sources of irrigation in Pakistan such as:

  • Canals
  • Rivers
  • Dams
  • Tube wells

WORLD'S LARGEST AMBULANCE NETWORK:

The worlds largest Ambulance Service in Pakistan - YouTubeAbdul Sattar Edhi  known as "the angle of mercy" was born on  28 February 1928. He was a Pakistani humanitarian,  philanthropist and ascetic who founded the Edhi Foundation, which runs the world's largest volunteer ambulance network, along with various homeless shelters, animal shelters, rehabilitation centres. He died on 8 July 2016.

World's Youngest Microsoft Certified Professional:

Arfa Abdul Karim Randhawa was a Pakistani student and computer prodigy who became the youngest Microsoft Certified Professional in 2004. She was submitted to the Guinness Book of World Records for her achievement. She received Pakistan's highest literary award, the Presidential Pride of Performance from General Pervez Musharraf in 2005. A science park in Lahore, the Arfa software technology  park, is named in her honor. At the age of 10, Arfa was invited by Bill Gates to visit Microsoft headquarters  in the 

 United States.

 WORLD'S BEST INTELLIGENCE AGENCY :

 ISI is among top ten best intelligence agencies of the world. According to American Crime News, it is world's finest and strongest intelligence agency. It is one of the top three intelligence agencies of Pakistan, including the Intelligence Bureau (IB) and Military Intelligence (MI).

 SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY:

 Pakistan has been known for some of its achievements in science and technology such as successful development of media and military technologies and a growing base of doctors and engineers, as well as its new influx of software engineers who have been contributing to Pakistan's Information Technology industry.

 

ACHIEVEMENTS IN SPORTS:

 In hockey Pakistan have won a total of 29 official international titles at professional and grassroots level selections, with three gold medals in the Olympic Games field hockey tournaments in Rome 1960, Mexico City 1968 and Los Angeles 1984.

 

In cricket Pakistan has won international cricket events, which include the 1992 Cricket World Cup, the 2009 ICC World Twenty20 and the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy besides finishing as runner-up in the 1999 Cricket World Cup and the 2007 ICC World Twenty20.

 Jahangir Khan – Best Squash Player Ever

Retired Pakistani squash player Jahangir Khan is widely regarded as the best squash player in history. He was unbeaten in competitive play when he was in his top form and won 555 matches consecutively from 1981 to 1986.

 

 The year 1994 was one of the most remarkable in terms of Pakistani sports, because this is when Pakistan reigned supreme not only in cricket but also in hockey, squash and snooker.
